I always wear briefs and I haven't tried using shorts without briefs. Siguro with MTB shorts OK lang pero with road shorts...hemmmm....do I have to put it up or down?

what's the weight of an average brief   ;D it'll lighten your riding weight for a few grams if you choose not to wear one ;D ;D ;D would the weight weenies consider this ;D ;D |

I used to wear briefs when riding...
when diz incident occur, we went for an almost century trip...
I had a part of my crotch kinda chaffed due to the brief which was soaking wet due to sweat...
and man it really hurts...
it hurts everytime I am pedalling.
I don't know how painfull a hymen when it's ripped but having a chaffed crotch surely makes me thankfull for being a man...
After that, I started wearing an ordinary cycling short as a brief/under shorts on top of it is the padded cycling short...

brief - cycling shorts (padded) - mtb shorts (padded) = triple overkill!!
for me, it's brief - cycling shorts or brief - mtb shorts

of course you dont have to wear briefs, that's why there's a padding in the cycling shorts. i havent seen a pro cyclist wear brief under the cycling shorts.  |
