Do we have parts and options available locally for rims and tires for plus size tires and rims, 27.5+ in particular?

reason is, i'm tempted to switch my 29er to a 27.5+... more to the availability of the local parts is the future of this wheel size (ie future proofing). if this size will persist, then i think it will be worth the change considering the benefits of plus sizes. and yes, i'm 100% sure a 2.8 tire will clear my frame/fork.

UP. Naghahanap din ako parts for 27.5+ (frame, fork, hubs, rims, tires). a 29er can fit a 27.5+ tire (diameter wise) at the expense of a smallish bb drop (5mm on the average). what you should consider is the tire clearance from the seat stay and chainstay since plus sized tires range between 2.5-3.0 widths. also, the wider the internal rim width, the wider the tire width in effect. personally, i'd won't go less than a wtb scraper rim.

Sagad na 2.2-2.3 tire width rear sa frame ko. Kaya ba ng Giant Trance X/ Anthem X 29er ang 27.5+? Ano kaya budget 29er frames kaya 27.5+?

WTB 27.5+ na 2.8 ay nasa 2.2k per piece ang last check ko. Budget rims na lang. ZTR Flow at WTB 27.5 lang yata available na kaya ang 27.5x2.8 to 3.0. Suggestions for wide 27.5 budget rims?

i'm currently looking at these 2: Silverback Square : Specialized Fuse : the Fuse na-test ride ko na. Pero the Square dehins pa. Not feeling the Timars eh. Yung Charge Cooker dehins sulit ang presyo with the components na nakasalpak so out siya.

xmayor: Yup! I'm diggin' the color scheme too! Pinag aaralan ko pa yang Silverback Square. Wala ako masyadong makitang review or video man lang. (1 review pa lang nakita ko). I'm weighing my choices to those 2: Spez Fuse and Silverback Square. $2200 vs $3200

Usually nasa 3,500-3,800 petot each mga 27.5 wide rims for plus tires (WTB, ZTR, Easton). Tubes, hubs and spokes pa. 12-15k++ pala talaga aabutin ng budget meal 27.5+. Baka may ma-refer kayo mas budget meal na rims (mga 28-30mm internal width tama po ba?).

Mahal kasi ng Sandugo ^_^ imo brusko is the cheapest so far... unless me di ako nalalaman :l though i have to admit di kagandagan groupset ng brusko, still the frame itself is a good bargain given the specs... boost, all axles TA, threaded bb, tapered ht.

Anybody heard about the 26+ type? what i really need now is a 26 x 2.8" or thereabouts. so far the fattest that's readily available is the maxxis shorty at just 2.4

You might want to check this shop if you have an FB account -> www.facebook.com/UMoveCycles/One of their members or employees would always post in the Mid Fat Bikes PH FB group regarding plus sized bikes.
