SLs vs SLRs ___________________________________________________________________________________________
Hunch of all hunches. Again, people got it alright. Weights are given without QRs, and that's where the difference between SL and SLR is. The SLR will come with TI skewers, which save about 20g. Apart from that, the wheels are strictly identical. You can nearly consider them as 2 color options of the same wheel. The difference in price is explained by the Ti skewers, and the wheelbags given with the SLR. It is the even lighter (and probably more expensive apparently)-- Crossmax SLR but most importantly, they have reportedly improved the freehub reliability, which was the problem with Mavic wheelsets... their freehubs need to be taken apart and relubed every few months.
Keeps getting better & better.
