drycables.com/html/diagrams.htmlDry bicycle Cables offer low maintenance, high performance operation. Dry Cables have 5 times the service life of regular cables, never need lubrication, are lightweight, & provide crisp, accurate shifting & braking. Dry cables are completely sealed from the elements by the Teflon outer cable sheath which runs the full length of the cable. The tight tolerance Teflon sheath seals out dirt, water, and crud while providing a virtually friction free surface for the cable to run. Dry Cables full length Teflon cable sheath isolates the cable from moisture, mud, & other contamination. The self-lubricating Teflon sheath runs all the way from the levers to the brake or derailleur component.. The Teflon sheath effectively seals the cable, creates a virtually friction less environment, & eliminates the need for cable lubrication. Dry Cable derailleur cable set - Shimano $29.99 Dry Cable derailleur cable set - SRAM / Gripshift $29.99

Is the M.O.B. cable housing available for Php50 @ meter (or less) at Cycle Art and Kings dry teflon coated cables? I use them and they work nicely. I just dont know if the sheath used by MOB is teflon.

Sounds exactly like the Nokon housing set I use for my avid mech brakes. The inner housing is full length, therefore no exposure to the elements. The cable is stainless steel, therefore no rust in humid conditions. The outer housing is aluminum, therefore lightweight. No maintenance since they were installed over a year ago and still silky smooth.
Hmmm... I wonder who was first to the mtb market. it's good to have competition, maybe prices will come down.

I think the MOB cable is only smooth plastic on the inside...not teflon.
I have a few on my bikes, still, even the cheap SIS Cable Shimanos are better.
