expensive Yep, reportedly the 2 carbon ones will cost around $6k. Still cheaper than the Spez Epic Carbon and Stumpjumper FSR Carbon at $7k ea. But if I had $6k for bikes, a lower end Anthem and ReignX will do. ;D The good thing is they are improving on an already good product. The best part is we can get '06's cheaper when these comes out. ;D

Full details on specs are now posted on the UK site www.giant-bicycles.com/uk/030.000.000/030.010.000.aspAlthough their international spec list may be different, at least we can see the spec levels from here. It has a wide variety of components. The forks are even a mix of Fox, Rockshox and Marzocchi. Looks great!

Nice line-up! The Reign X is better suited to "dance" with the likes of the 'Cruz Nomad. The original Reign looks more like a long-travel trail bike. In addition I'd have to add the Giant Pistol in the 07 line-up, made for the budget-conscious (moi included) who can only dream of the Reign or Trance for the moment. This basically replaces the Warp series (although the Warp is still being distributed in the Asian region) This is the Pistol "Japanese version" Pistol "North American version" Notice the slight difference? and the slight similarity to G.Fisher Cake series (and Haro's too)

Complete specs and MSRP are now up on the US site. giant-bicycles.com/us/030.000.000/030.000.006.asp?year=2007Once again, Giant is setting the bar up in terms of value. For example, the Trance 3 with decent componentry (Deore all around, RS Dart, Hayes Mech brakes) at $1200. Another standout is the ReignX1 (SRAM, Avid Juicy 5 6"rear /8"front, Fox Van 36R, Fox DHX 3.0, Easton controls, Race Face Cranks) at $2600. I hope similar specs come out in the international versions. Time to save up for the '07 Trance 3. It's gonna be cheaper by the time I saved up ('08). ;D
