I wish they didn't take out the top tube knuckle on the new 575's I've been wanting to own a yeti for quite sometime already. The only thing preventing me from owning one is the rider weight limit on the frame that I like (575). Diba Velo City used to be the official distributor of Yeti in the philippines? I tried to look for the updated distributors list and they weren't there anymore. Oh yeah, this frame might actually help me achieve my dreams of owning a yeti. ;D www.bikeradar.com/mtb/news/article/yetis-dramatic-new-seven-up-close-12577I didn't know there was a rider weight limit on the 575's. I ride with plenty of 575 owners between 200 and 250lbs with no problems. You just have to use burlier parts. Just last night, I was riding with a friend (Dave) and we were doing rock stunts. He was on a stock Enduro 575 (well the wheels have been replaced)... Dave is probably over 200lbs geared up.

The last time I weighed myself I was at 295 lbs, 305 with gear. ;d I think I'm little heavier now due to the bum knee I have. Do you think that the Rp23 or DHX air, be it on a 575 or a different frame, could handle my weight? I would want to move into air shocks, but don't want to invest a lot of money and come up with a broken frame or suspension. Thanks!

Boy, I wish a friend who was going to the US this Nov would take the time to get me a frame and bring it back here . . . . . . ;D
I mean, I wouldn't mind being his SAG driver on an epic ride if he can do this for me . . .

. . . and Arnel I know Raul will be riding with Team Karma, since this is a Yeti thread, maybe he could ride my 575 when he's in town. If Arnel could stop by in SoCal, he should hook up with us too!
