The Anthem is a 4" bike right? You maybe better off with a Reba (lighter than the Rev). The Reba/Rev air forks are better than the Fox forks I've tried (Talas) and also easier to work on. My Revelation is easily as good as my Pushed Talas.

REBA dude, I'm riding a trance (slightly higher rear travel) and I'm totally happy with a 110mm fork. RVLATN is too all mountain. plus the Anthem is spec'd to have a 100mm max front travel. ANy higher and you'd be changing the geometry too much.

Snapy,
If you have the budget, go for the RS.
I have nothing bad to say about the XC Pro's as i use them, it is ideal for a beginner mtbiker, but trust me, you will outgrow them.
For a better and comfortable ride, get the RS. it may be more expensive, but it in the long run, (1-2 years... depends when the upgrade virus bites) its a wiser investment.
thanks.

If you're looking for a good investment then reba would be the one. You can use it for at least 2-3yrs depends how soon the upgrade virus bites (^_^)

If you're dropping 6 feet (hopefully to a nice easy transition), then the Reba (or the Anthem as a bike) is the wrong fork. You'd be better off on a heavy duty trail or FR bike and not an XC bike...

asking is this fork very durable? even u fly with in 6 ft can still survive? I think you should get yourself REVELATION if you intend to drop 6ft. A crosscountry / trail fork is not intended fo that use. Kintaro is right when he said its a good investment. REBA is one of Rock Shox fork that put them again on a good market share. Cheers!

to add to the confusion......... the bigger the drop IMHO the bigger the investment btw snapy when you inquired about the suntour XCR Pro, were you originally intending to do 6 foot drops with it anyway good luck on your drops

snap out of it man. try a different "hobby" yup, try motocross. you can do 6 foot drops and more. but its too expensive siguro. but you can go farther, faster and higher on a motocross than if you were on a bike.

Dude are you inhaling the same stuff as our good friend, USSPrinceton? 6 feet is 6 feet. You never said 6 inches in your original post. Do us all here a favor and stop posting INANE questions. If I were you, I'd follow XCTOFI's advise and try a different "hobby."

Thanks
