PinoyMTBiker folks' expert opinions would certainly be helpful in the decision.
The frame is 1st Priority for trail rides.
The value of the components is 2nd Priority as the plan is to resell them in lieu of XTRs from existing bike, except for the wheelset which may be retained while in search of a good pair. The value matters in terms of how much money we can get from selling them, which in turn brings down the cost of the whole bike.
Experience from current CF HT is outstanding, that's why its is difficult to decide between a CF FS and a really good alum-alloy one.
Many thanks.
