They say that 50% of a wheel is in the hands that built them. The question is... who makes the best wheels in Metro Manila? Any experiences with local wheel builders/shops? I'm looking for someone to build me a new pair of wheels, and I have no idea who to go to. Your help is needed. Thanks.

COBYM, if you are near pasay, I go to these people to Build my dh race wheelset and/or for alignment before a race.
1. Jimmy or edwin -> Sam/anthony lao's ROSS Cycling leveriza pasay city.
2. Jhun taba, -> ELIXIR leverza pasay city (road and mtbike)
My tip to you is go there after lunch weekdays when all are snoozing kasi siesta hehehe, that time dehins sila busy,
edwin, build my current dh race wheelset mavic 721s, japan stainless spokes, soon will replace the spokes with DT swiss.
bought my 721 rims at ross cyling, discounted, P6K Its the V brake model it is lighter than the 729 disc rim. (fyi, steve peat and sam hill use the 721)
jimmy, build my frst trail bike wheel set a mavic 521, xt hubs and japan spokes lasted two years, until i changed the hubs to disc ready.
Jhun taba also build road bike wheelsets.

Tnx for the help. Will check out ross. I bought some stuff from them before na, and they're fairly straightforward to deal with.
