planning to upgrade my fork from drop-off triple to a Manitou Travis Single 150 (if i find one) or a Zoke 66 Light, i'd love to have a Fox 36Van but budgets are limited, you guys probably saw my frame (elo-ment w/ the overlooked Hummer) so I think you know what to suggest. Thanks!!

how much travel does that thing has in the rear? from what i recall it looks almost like u should have a 7" in the front... but that travis 150, i hear, is very plush.

i have and 8" rear travel, 6" would be enough for the fork don't you think? wanted to have the TRavis single 170mm but it only comes in 1.5 steerers, but 150 i think will do. right guys? now where can i find 'em here...?

well theyd probably say that they sucked and they wanted a suntour instead,kidding....if the travis would hold up to thier abuse what more can it do when you give it to someone who hits less gnarlier sh*t.....

oh hey, don't get me wrong here... u mentioned reviews and then dropped their names so i'm connecting the 2. soooor-ry! elo: anyways, i'm not saying it's not strong 'coz i'm sure it can take your abuse... all i'm saying is matching the rear suspension w/ the front. u can have a v10 w/ a (5") Z1 if u like but that's not going to match and it's not best for the geometry. coming from a drop-off, the dampening will be an upgrade for sure but that's not the only thing that's impt. U should go and measure your axle-to-crown on what u have now and take notes on the headtube angle and BB height.... then find out the a-c of whatever it is u wanna install and then estimate (educated) what your new head angle will be. then u would be able to tell if that's what u want or not... ie. if the existing one is too slack and u want to get a steeper HA then that's one option.

Hmmm.... you're right, a 150 would'nt look to good and would not give me my wanted angle, a 66 light whaddaya think? i'd go for a boxxer race though if i pick a dual crown.

call up your marzocchi shops. i HEAR this could be done... i have no presonal experience on this. if u replace both legs (assumming it could be done)... then u will have a very nice feeling fork.
