You are correct, Brod! I also brought that vidcam for my brother abroad. SC-x105XL model. To use on their rides so that i can view trails abroad. But we were sad about the performance. The picture quality is not worth for the price of almost 50t. Its 2GB memory is full in an hour of ride. Battery is easy to drain. So.....how can we enjoy viewing our rides even with a bottle of sanmig light ;D. We were also thinking selling but who dares to buy if they will not enjoy too. Even if we sell for 30t, the buyer will not satisfy. Sana magkaisa tayo......soli natin. Papalitan natin ng ibang model kahit hinde na para sa biking. What do you think? Lifes not ending there........go out ang ride, yeh! Thank You!

Typically, vid cams like that are 640x480 only... parang naka-webcam ka lang... Malabo...

Yeah just mount a good camera on your helmet like this I can vouch for the Olympus, I have the Mu700 which is weatherproof only. Picture quality is good and it can take the occasional splashes. But that waterproof/shockproof model is really something else. Get a 500MB stick, find a way to mount it on your chest or something, and I think you can get pretty good vid qualities already.
