"Selle" is Italian (and French) for "saddle". There are a couple of saddle companies that use "selle" as part of their name, most notably Selle Italia and Selle San Marco.
That said, I prefer a Selle Italia Flite classic. No gel, no cutouts. Just a lightweight, no-nonsense saddle.

WTB Laser V! what sucks though is that the little white WTB logo on the side fades after a few trail rides. now it's completely gone!
but my butt really loves the old Da Bomb "Da Banket" saddle
OEM Kona comfort comp is also nice. Also the THE Dice saddle

Currently using a specialized avatar saddle. with Gel and Body Geometry tienes tienes. My opinion - it looks fast and stylish, and has bling factor, but my ultra cheapo stock Velo seat is much more comfy and is just around 40 to 50 grams heavier.

I voted "other" coz I've used Active (Foming Bicycle Parts, Taiwan) saddles for my two bikes. The Active FM-2639 PROLINE and the FM-9001 PRO EMB. They have different molds and I prefer the latter since for me, it is more comfortable. Note that these are "value" saddles, but are so far serving me well.

WTB Speed V Pro Gel 04 model. Bought it from Ross. Very comfortable for long rides. The problem is tha the heat transfer logo on both side got erased in one ride. I emailed WTB and sent the pic of the saddle. They acknowledged the problem with the logo and WTB was offering to replace the saddle but this would be more costly due to the shipment fee. Anyway, they respond to end user comments quickly.
