I'd still recommend the much cheaper Aspirin unless it's contraindicated.....
Thanks for the info Sir...

Sir arci...
these drugs are all indicated for unstable angina. basta something to do with blood thinning to be able to smoothly pass your artery.
difference is its generations... aspirins like cor-30 are 1st gen. i'm reading my notes here and there's alot of side effects kasi nga sina una... sort of bleeding of gastric mucosa. other drogs has side effects also it just depends on the idiosyncrecies of the patient. ;D

@ sir arci... gastric mucosa is the lining on your tummy. it is the mucus that protects the stomach from the acid inside it... if raptured, may cause bleeding. if you need meds, happy to help. lets just say, better that senior citizen and 30% off sulit cards. for the aspirin you're taking, i cant. it's too low na. if no reaction coming from your body, hiyang ka siguro. (you're ok with it!)

Tito ARci, Julia is right. The reason I'm paying top petot to buy Plavix instead of aspirin is because the more expensive (3rd generation kuno) medicine is easier on your ulcer. Get a checkup for ulcer (if you haven't gotten it from years of aspirin, superman ka na). It's good to be scared. You'll live longer that way... But ignorance is bliss... Btw, my pop is getting around P3K for his pension from the govt, and I'm spending 3 times that amount for his medicine alone. Galing ng sosyal-sekyu-stema natin noh? (Trans: if you can't afford it, die! who cares?)
