if you live somewhere northern part, try mo ung CONQUER Mountaineering store sa may Monumento, sa Caloocan... right beside lang sya ng Jollibee... tapat ng Ever Gotesco. medyo tago sya dahil sa mga stalls.... pero may sign naman sa taas peor maliit lang. i got my hydrapack for about 750 w/o the bladder. basta makipagtawaran ka na lang... mababait namn mga tao dun eh. ;D

the turbolites are great!! they cost only 900 Php but can do the job.... (give you your water and still pack enough stuff in the back) but you could really assemble your own... quiapo has lots of military surplus goods there... you can buy a small backpack there...then buy the bladder separate. (750-900 Php) at least you could customize the specs of what you'd really be needing.

the bigger turbolite is an exact replica of the famous CAMELBAK M.U.L.E. its a great pack but reklamo ko lang (and all of my friends) is that the bladder has a lifespan of about 3-4months on the average, after that you'll start seeing holes and stuff, my suggestion? edmond sells bladders that are almost similar to deuters and are a perfect fit for the turbolites ;D (so kung ayaw nyo gumastos TAKE EXTRA CARE OF THE BLADDER!)

daling mag-deteriorate ng zefal bladders. mine leaked after ONLY two trail rides. a number of friends/acquaintances have quite similar experiences. ang kagandahan lang sa zefal products are the bags mismo - really cheap (compared to camelbaks, deuter, etc.) and roomy like the Atlas model. pero napansin ko lang ang dali din masira nung mga tahi nito.
better talaga to buy a camelbak bladder kahit ibang brand yung bag mismo. only reason i'm still using the zefal is wala pa kong pambili to upgrade to a better pak

hi bros,
just wanted to share what I did as my hydrapack...
I bought this 2.5 L bladder sa Galleria I think it's HM Bladder - anyway I think the size would be enough for a 4-5 hour ride ( for me).
So next I needed the bag itself. I just modified an old backpack - made an insulated compartment for the bladder using a foam insulator and some waterproof fabric ( fatigue used for army tents/bags)
I have noticed that almost 5 hours on a hot road, the water is still ice cold. but I noticed that the water in the pipe is warm, so i placed an isulator on the pipe too..
now i look like a robot ;D

try the turbolite hydra packs!!! light in weight! it comes in 2ltr or 1.5ltr. got one for 800 only (the 2ltr) it has enough space for some tools, snacks and an extra t-shirt
im using a generic bladder(2ltrs) got it from montanara shop at farmers. the only problems with the bladder are the bite valve has no cover and the cap is so small that it's only same as the mouth of 1.5 coke bottle.

Dapat matibay din yung rubber na kinakagat at sinisipsipan ;D korek. i'm using a camelback mule-replica turbolite, but "upgraded" with a camelback bite-valve, plus one of those bladders that you can open up and clean (forgot the brand though). the camelback bite-valve is very good quality, relatively cheap and it's just the right amount of softness, unlike the zefal bite valves which are too hard and taste like rubber. it's a bit hard too clean though, because of the corner angle.
