Guys, been learning a lot from this site... I know I have a relevant question (stupid question maybe!!) I need to ask: My GF mentioned this before that likes dogs (but runs at the sight of them --> makulit yung shitszu ng uncle ko). I saw at least 3 posts of cute cute cute ;D puppies being sold in this forum. Should I still buy my girl a puppy? Her birthday was last month, and I haven't bought her anything nice (just some dinners and a trip to the zoo). Please share your knowledge or even ask your Magic 8 Ball (or even play Jack-en poy with a friend) if you're clueless like me. Dr Love need help!

am no dr. love hehe! but just the same let me share to you my thoughts on the matter. since she's your gf, i must presume you've already been to her house (not thru the window )...did you see any pets? do you think the members of her family would agree to owning one? do they have a enough space for a dog? the type of dog will also dictate the space that will be needed i believe...in short, just make sure that the dog will be properly cared for...if not, just give her cut flowers ;D for me kasi, having a dog for a pet is a serious business

I agree with you. Thanks for sharing your thoughts Dr Love aka Ben! Good points they are... Anyway, I've been to her house... a lot of times already... no dogs or pets in there right now. She's had a dog before (passed away a long time ago) but I don't know if she'll be able to care for it with the needed TLC that it requires. She works a lot. I'm thinking of buying her a pug (small enough to fit a backpack/purse probably like paris hilton). Hmm.. cut flowers are common, given her those a few times before (for no reason).. I'll think of something different.. necklace? bracelet? Lingerie (kidding)? Me in a box.. hehe (a horrific surprise)? Anyway, thanks Doc!

better to bring her to a pet shop. check if she is really interested and what breed does she really want. if yes then you can buy her on the spot...

Bike... she's not an outdoor-sy person... the only sport we have in common is badminton... saw couples riding Tandem bikes at TOF (dreaming...) I'll bring to Bioresearch someday...good idea Jopet! ;D

i would suggest to visit this site brad: forum.dog-tracker.com/to get some insights. buying a puppy is one thing, making sure that you bought the right breed is another. good luck on your prospect!

aaaaha ha ha ha, nice one Tolits!!! you're the man, ha ha ha. anyway, yeah, i agree with the posts above, if you really want to give her a dog, make sure the dog gets TLC. if it was me, i'd take her to a shop or if she asks you to accompany her shopping, pay for a blouse or 2, then say belated happy birthday. it worked with my wife

got a japanese spitz for an ex back in '96 as a graduation gift we loved him , we cradled him, we hugged him, took really good care of him and named him george.... hi george! ...... este..... named him "pampoo" we were young.... we were innocent.... we were lost in our emotions ... we were caught up in love's illusions... we made him the center of our relationship.... our lives... the pretend baby to be (with force md's tender love playing in the background) .... hmmm ................ not!!! back to reality, sad thing though... after a year, we lost him to thieves.... dognappers.... most prolly pampoo ended up as..... pampoo-lutan! after a of week of lamenting, solace and melancholy, we bought another spitz, and named him "chicken"... and that is totally another story............. * true story! ;D curahee!
