PCN A biker with a Golden Heart in MOA
"last Friday Roberto Boy Querimit lost his bike in their residence a vault cutter was used in stealing his bike nobody notice what happened. Mang boy was not around because he is working as a part time driver. To those who dont know him he is a Asian games medalist and a hall of famer but the government neglected him, promises made to him never came. He said to me that his bike kahit bakal bakal ang tanging nagpapalakas nalang sa kanya so he is really disappointed on what happened. everybody in MOA knows him as a strong rider at 57 he always finish in top 3. I wanted to help him so that his cycling will not be stopped I ask friends to donate their old parts. people donated parts to him because they now that mang boy is a very good person. Yesterday I called a friend who is a businessman and a recreational cyclist I ask him if he can give mang boy frame and fork kahit yung mumurahin lang he told me lets talk tomorrow. early this morning we met at the winner take all in macapagal he saw Boy querimit finishing 4th using a borrowed bike he is amazed on what he saw he called me and Mang boy to join him we ask where will we go? quiapo! when we reach the bike shop he showed us a frame and fork. I thought he will only donate frame and fork then he talked to the owner of the shop he called me and mang Boy he told Mang Boy regalo ko sayo ito mamili kana kung anu gus2 mo pyesa! ( my gift to you choose what parts will you put in it) he chose new sora and r550 wheelset and he asked my friend pede po ba ito my frend replied anything you choose will be ok to me. I saw the tears came out of mang Boys eyes he told me sa buong buhay ko di pa ko nagkaruon ng bike na aabot ng P20t. mga friends up to now pala there is still a good samaritan. My friend wanted to remain unanimous and said never tell anybody that the bike came from him! He said money is not important he is very happy because he made mang boy very happy. My friend thank you very much for bringing back Mang Boys passion. God bless you! Mang Boy thank me I told him you are a very good person you deserve this. Sana po meron pang tulad ng friend ko na tutulung sa ibang cyclist na nagbigay ng karangalan sa ating bansa para naman po sumaya uli sila. Maraming Salamat po!"

Just imagined every pro-cyclist or even those who's goin to turn pro would have a sponsor like someone who's earning from taxes... like these cong's...if an average politician has a CDF of _,000,000 a year, would it hurt if he would sponsor to an athlete (particularly a cyclist) by giving him at least 70K for a quality racing bike and a monthly allowance of at least 10K. Ironically, most of them would rather choose to spend this so called "fund" for a few night-out rather than boost the morale of a true bloodied filipino citizen who's dreaming of getting to the top and earning and winning not just for himself but for the whole country... sad to say, if we could look into deeper not just in the cycling world but for the future of philipine sports itself...only those who are directly supported by their own families has the high probability of excelling compared to other atheletes. there is also this scenario where I witness how athletes that won medals for the country where goin to be interviewed on a noontime talkshow, arrive riding tricycles instead of riding a chartered shuttle or bus, whats worst is, they even have said that they are shelling out they're own transpo just to get to their guesting appearance...(well I hope not all cong's are)
to you sir, who have shared your grace to sir Roberto Boy Querimit...you deserve the utmost respect and gratitude that could be given...
bato, bato sa langit, tatamaan...SEKWET!!! (trans. just the sad face of reality)

i think thats the difference between a SAMARITAN and a no good politician... A good Samaritan will share mostly what ever he could. A no good politician will just drop a buck which actually came from the nation's fund then he would brag each and every minute that he helped you and mostly put his God d@mn forsaken name to a project that would act as like that....____ was here!!!...

OT: really? can you tell us the story? Is this the same Enzo we know aka Da Man? I know he did a lot of these things lately until he left. Like the Ermita & Que Ave chicks and some Mendiola students ;D joke. Seriously the guy is so generous! Anyway, if we could have known his story earlier, I'm pretty sure most of us here will donate extra parts lying around. Hats off to that great guy who helped him!
