I'd love to biked to work. My only problem is parking space with enough security. Of course we have security guards, but they wont be just watching my bike.
Talking about biking to work, I just saw a guy this morning wearing a "barong" biking to work. I guess in the future we'll see a lot more of people like him due to the continuously increasing fuel prices...Especially pag may bike lanes na!

Yup, I biked to work today. Less than 1km from my gf's place, so it's not much of a ride.

... ... ... i bike to work after two weeks of not biking due to rainy season.... ;D hi peeps! i work on night shift in a call center in eastwood city libis. my bicycle-commute starts from antipolo city (masinag market area) past 6pm, passing Marikina Riverbanks access road to Libis either via Marcos or Sumulong highway (where the former is a haven of swerving PUVs and private 4-wheelers alike due to somewhat poor road pavement and alternating U-turns). i usually arive in eastwood city area after 30 mins, 8-kilometer ride one way, and thanking the Lord that i arrived alive and in one piece, still... (as well as my beater F/S ride, not torn into pieces so far ;D) a day without rain is a go-go for bicycle commuting indeed! and, definitely, i still have to "pedal" my way back home the following morning, where everybody's rushing (again) in their daytime work... so for me: well-maintained bicycle + complete tool/stuff kit + a lot of "common" sense = commuting experience at its best! ride safe! regards,

i heard that no bike is allowed in eastwood... i cant find the old thread where it says that bikes are prohibited inside eastwood coz of one incident that a biker was hit by a falling debris and filed a complained and since then they dont allow bikers to go inside eastwood...

Eikichi & goodboybrionne: actually, i've doing this bicycle-commuting stuff since summer this year, though it's less frequent recently due to unpredictable downpour. in that 5-months time, nobody ever told me personally that bicycling (or riding a bicycle for whatever purpose) is prohibited in the area. exact location of secure bicycle rack in eastwood city? its at the basement of TechnoPlaza One bldg (Fitness First @ the 1st floor) and the space is worth P20 peso all-day-all-night just don't forget to lock your ride in the sturdy rack provided (obviously). eiwol: we're working in the same bldg, and we might be working for the same company huh i work in the company occupying 20-22F (is that clue enough?) regards,

how much do you pay for parking? i mentioned P20 all-day-all-night rate in my previous posts, but sometimes the cashier staff forgots to ask for my payment and just gives me a deranged face when someone in a "bisikleta" gave her the parking ticket ;D so in short, the max rate is P20 and if you're lucky, its for free regards,

buti pa kayo. i'd love to bike to work, but i can't. i'm a medical representative and go to different hospitals (high milage sana!), it will be to toxic for me to change into a bike attire then change into a business attire, then go to the next hospital then change again my clothes. as much as i would love to bike to work. if only i have a fix place for work. hmmm...which gives me an idea to find another job! so that i can bike to work!

hi xctofi! based on the above link, you work in the contact center occupying 5/F of TechoPlaza One bldg, right? i used to work there last year before i transferred to their counterparts in Cyber One bldg... ;D as far as i know, the taiwanese head of that office has a bicycle-buddy as well, and he's the head of IT group (taiwanese-looking man as well) at that time, and yes, they use their budget F/S bicycles... but i never had a chance to see them roaming around eastwood city since i left there... regards,
