An old RC Car with a brand name of "Taiyo" was given to us. It is a monster truck with big wheels on it and i think runs 4WD.
The steerer has some problems and the tires are damaged. Are there some place where it can be fixed?
Thanks.

Yes we did at QCRCC. I stopped the hobby and sold all my cars except for my Tamiya Wild Willy ... Buhay pa ba yung QCRCC? And Emer and the guys? I bike in UP and sometimes stopover for a look but they no longer play there on Sundays.
It was a hobby for bonding with my son. He also raced Rally and Monster Truck. I think I was the first one to own an Emaxx that I bought in the States when it first came out. Paolo now MTBikes with me so this is our new bonding activity. Besides, tumaba ako sa RC...

I ride solo most of the time. But I also ride with several groups also from the area. I go with Milo, Edison and Master Jun. Sometimes I ride with the Extreme group of John Chua. We usually do Macabud , Licao-licao, etc. See you sometime ...

@losifile,radical,donaldduck. i think we already met/raced before. Yup, we've met already. The pics you posted are from the Taytay Fiesta Race race yata. The last car I used sa QCCRCC is the Team Losi XXX Buggy, the first one to run sa track. I also happened to use a Traxxas T-Maxx (the first din yata na tumakbo sa Circle). My remaining RC now is the vintage Kyosho Big Brute Monster Truck (2WD) and the Citroen Rally Car. I just recently revived my Big Brute and it still run great. God Bless. Abel

Hi rctechers! I got into biking through rctech. I think there are a few on-roaders here like freeride, me, and jeff yeo (I'm not sure if he has a handle here, and I only saw his name in a few threads). The handles of losiphile and alfalfameister are familiar to me, because those were their handles at rctech too. Hope we could all ride together sir! ..and maybe make a jersey: rctech goes PinoyMTBiker. hehehe!

Had a Tamiya Vanquish back in HS. Set it up before to sport titanium shocks, sealed bearings, Avante chassis, changed the motor, titanium axles and drive shafts, etc etc - spent over P10K before - sold it for P1K. Would take out the front shafts also to make it a 4x2 occasionaly. Used to race it in a Makati parking lot dirt track - forgot what it was called. It was really interesting to learn to set up these things because after that i graduated to setting up my 4x2 pickups and 4x4 SUVs - learned a lot from RC racing. I am actually one of very few trail off roaders who prefer 4x2s over 4x4s.

I am planning to ride my bike early Saturday and then go Race RC cars in the afternoon. Offroad and dirt oval for me. I have an Xray XB8 1/8th scale nitro and a RC10 T4 with 19T motor currently set up for dirt oval. Also, I have an OFNA Hobao Hyper 7 I am getting ready to sale. Somewhere I still have an RC10 truck with an RPM chasis and a gold tub RC10 buggy.
All JR radios radios for me. XS3 and XR2. I will try to post some pictures soon.

I am a little late with the pictures. Here are two pictures of my T3 converted to a dirt oval truck. We started a point series at the end of June. The oval racing is a blast with the trucks. The previous owner beat me by 3 laps in the first race. Last night we battled for the final 5 laps in the main with many lead changes. The T3 won by .8 seconds against a T4 with a 4300 brushless and 3800 battery packs. The old school T3,19 turn motor, and 3300 did the the job. We are both tied in the point series with a 1st and 2nd place each.

For fun I took my vintage RC10t with RPM chassis out for one qaulifier. It was competitive until a lapped truck flipped me and the battery pack fell out. ;D

i too have RC..been awhile since i raced..but im into nitro truggies and buggies.. i currently have a HELLFIRE w/ a STS 30 on it and a LOSI MUGGY w/ a ofna force 32 engine..just for bashing..since the legal engine size right now is only 28. i have ofna and KYOSho MP 7.5 buggies that i use to race....RC is a lot of un...but it gets too expensive sometimes..especially if you race...this is why i havent touched mine in months.. here's some pictures and videos.. yellow one is a LOSI muggy w/ 8T body red one in the video is a HEllfire with the stock 28 engine (now DEAD) hellfire now has a newly broken in STS .30 with a 16T bell for more top end..i'll post some more pictures when i find them...

I'm one of those who wanted to have those grasshopper's, hot shot's, egress, frog's, avante's when I was a kid. I'd always ask my parents to give me one of those tamiya rc's for my birthday, but I'd always get those tiny 1/16 4 double a powered cars. I'd always envy my my cousin Garet S of action hobbies (he's actually my nephew but he's older so I call him my cousin ;d) because he'd always have the latest cars and he'd compete internationally. When I got a job I went on a RC buying frenzy. I had a kyosho MkII spyder, Losi XX 2wd buggy, that Losi matt francis edition stadium truck, HPI Pro 4, and Associated Electronics TC3. I eventually sold them all to build my first mountain bike back in 2003. ;D ;D
Although I'm stopping myself now from looking at the HPI Savage. I'm so in love with that truck! Anybody still running their RC's? Pa-piga (Trans: Squeeze) naman. ;d
