Well this is the continuation of the year-end ride Wandie1024 posted, but its more like a 2008 welcoming ride and welcoming it is! Well my day started by receiving a text message from Gadgets at around 5:00 am lets bike! I really got excited coz never thought he will ride this soon, but I had to pick up like 3 more guys before meeting Gadgets, So while gadgets was waiting for me I think he bumped his head somewhere then he called me up to say he needs to go home coz his helmet will not fit his head due to swelling , good thing it was nothing serious. So the four of us went to the flagpole, then one of my friends had a flat tire (that soon!) we didnt have any tools, then suddenly from the far coming towards our direction came a man in a marine shirt! Papa Rocky to the Rescue! ;D To cut the long story short the two guys still had to bail out coz eventough we had tools already c/o fafarocky, his tire tubes really busted. Then came lancetyrone and wandie. So Fafa Rocks, Wandie, lanctyrone, Dennis and myself went straight to MOA, but ofcourse due to unsolved mysteries of Doctor Alberts turf, we decided to head to the Marina Bay Trails second time around, but now with no sight of Dr. Albert anymore, tinitinitinitini...bwahahahahahaha! ;D here's our pix, enjoy viewing! Entering the trail Poto ops muna Lancetyrone leading the way we had to carry our bikes over the stone barrier Stone covered trail gave us a hard time (Randy in action) Break time Rocky and Mike Here's Wandie You wouldnt think this is like 5 mins away from MOA Fafa Rocks resting under the shade of a tree Our Visions hehe Wandie Wandering My turn to have a shot hehe Now you know why we need shin guards! Mike and Rocky thinking if we still explore further Nah lets head back, this place gives me the creeps Thanks for viewing

guys, you should have brought a machete to link the trail to the other side. im seeing a trend on that trail, i think there will always be scratches on any member of a group who enters that place, i still have the 3 inch scar on my left arm from the sharp grasses... hala is it bloodletting the price of admission or the price of going out .... alive.....? tininining tininining .... WELCOME TO TWILIGHT ZONE...

Was so excited (gigil) after a long time off the saddle. While waiting for Harry at noodletown, I took off my helmet, and was thinking of the trials video I downloaded the other day. So... I took to myself to try the trackstand thingy, where you stay on the bike without dabbing the feet on the ground. Didn't mind that I removed my helmet already.... I went to a paved garage with a slanting ramp to try the trackstand... As I was, like, 3 seconds on my trackstand, my right shoe clicked into the pedal, suddenly I lost balance, fell on my right, bumped my head on the concrete pole beside me, fell on the floor, picked myself up like nothing happened, said to myself it's only a bump, as I tried to put on my helmet back anticipating Harry would be arriving in a few minutes, my helmet wouldn't fit! Heck! my bukol swell like a one-inch ball! Called up Harry to say I have to call it quits. Won't be able to wear my helmet, and it's always no helmet no ride for me. Was able to talk to Papi Rocky on the phone, was he the newbie rider Harry was going to surprise me that day? Mwahaha, eniwei, I got home, put ice on the swelling, and got back to bed. Woke up at noon and the swelling subsided. NOTE: The guys in the trials video ought to log in PinoyMTBiker, and learn a thing or 2 about wearing helmets. They're bad examples, heck, I was led to believe no helmet is cool... but experience tells me otherwise. MORAL: Always wear your helmet, even when just trying the TRACKSTAND!!! Lessons from a biker with no skills... Someday when I build up some skills, I'd still wear a helmet! P.S. Missed the ride again... AAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! It hurts, you know... it hurts!

@gadgets dont worry we'll set a ride for you, wear protection for the stingy grasses. (and for the dogs hehehe)
I was late for the this ride anyway, hehehe just hooked up with them at Macpagal goin back to CCP.
I asked Fafarocky of Dr. Albert, theres no trace of him during their comeback ride , so as sir Tibbar said...."tiningtining"hehehe...so is he for real or just a product of our craving for La Mien Noodles.

awesome year ender! how long approx is the actual trail? I would guesstimate 3kms of wander, surprises, spookiness for every 25 meters of twists and turns.
