Wat da fudge! What happened?!?!!? hehe my tire unsat itself in the middle of my 5th run and spat out my tube, which in turn decided to casually wrap itself around my fork. Good news was that the tube was not punctured and I was able to reassemble my wheel I ran my tire at really low pressure to get more traction. i guess 20psi is a tad too low.

Edge,
With Nevegals, THAT is WAY too low. High volume yan. 30 would do. The rest, leave it to your fork.
Congrats on your first race brad! Bagay sayo Yeti!

I went to this track a few days prior to the race just to try it out. Being the beginner that I am, I found myself exhausted half way through. Anyway I just decided to stay for a while during the race proper to take some snaps. You can see the rest of the shots here... if you guys know anyone in the shots, just post them: nikonographer.multiply.com/photos/album/35/Sabaks_9_to_9

Right now, I'm still feeling the high from yesterday's race. Too much adrenaline pumping in my system that I don't feel any aches in my body. (or maybe its the Bacardi ) What can I say? All your congratulatory remarks made me speechless. Anyway, here goes my speech ;D ....... I would like to thank the Lord Almighty for giving me my 2nd chance at life....for giving me back my strength that I thought I've lost after suffering a stroke early last year. He protected me all through out coz I finished the race unscathed. I never imagined that I would be able to finish the race and emerge as the winner. Thank you Lord. I would like to thank my wonderful hubby bikedaddy for his never ending support in everything I do....for always believing that I can do it....for being there when I needed him....and for his undying love. And for that I will share with you my prize ;D I would like to thank Tofi for lending me his lights, though it poorly lighted the track, it still showed me a glimpse of the track and I was able to pedal some more during the night. ;D ;D ;D I would like to thank Sabak and all the sponsors for putting up a race like this and for the wonderful prize of an overnight stay at Bellevue Hotel with free breakfast for two plus cash. Helmets off to you guys! Thank you to all the participants of the race. No major accidents happened in the race because you were all courteous and great in singing Beyonce's song........to the left, to the left. ;D ;D ;D To my PinoyMTBiker family, thank you all. You've added so much joy to our sport. Mountainbiking wouldn't be as much fun without you guys to interact with. See you all at the next race and remember to always Livestrong!

Arnel, could have pedalled some more if I had good lights. I stopped pedalling at 7 pm. Since I was already enjoying a very comfortable lead, bikedaddy deemed it best for me to just stop lest encounter an accident.
