Last month together with my longtime hiking buddy Harold (bantay) and his loveteam Claire (claired) both PinoyMTBiker lurkers/newbies went to Naga to climb Mt. Isarog and have some trail/road riding around Naga, It was a very unplanned trip, been thinking of going to Camarines for a very long time and its just last month It came to reality., we went there also to visit our dear Whreachelle on her father's wake, stayed in whreachelle's mansion for almost a week (thanks Wifi for accommodating us )
as our first adventure, we hiked Mt. Isarog, it was raining very hard that day and had to change our itinerary to just staying at Malabsay Falls and camped there for a night.
here are some pics:
Claire's mighty Fortuner parked at jump off (we tried to reach the DENR station with the Fortuner but the slippery road made us abandon the plan)
the road to the jump off
Harold and Claire leading
Freeman thinking if we are on the right trail ;D
The spot were we agreed that the Fortuner had to turn back (di kaya ng gulong)
trail leading to the DENR station at the foot of Isarog
DENR station atlast! (Freeman pole dancing at Mt Isarog marker)
trail leading to Malabsay Falls
Claire at Malabsay falls (hey bantay what's that thing u'r holding there?.. ;D)

After Malabsay we went back to Calabanga (Wifi's hometown), there we were greeted by Wifi with a warm bottle of quatro canto's ;D, got to meet Wifi's mother, brothers and sister.
tagay na!
Freeman: sakit ulo ko!
Wifi: naku migrane na yan!
Wifi at one of her mansions
and yes we also brought our bikes to explore Whreachelle's vast rice fields at Calabanga, we didn't have enough time to explore the single tracks and mountain roads so we settled on pedalling around fire roads along towns going to Naga.
