The PinoyMTBiker veterans were also 'kind' enough to test ride various rigs to optimize their settings Paul shows that a Reign can climb just as well as XC rigs . . . got to keep your weigt centered (forward enough to keep the front pinned to the ground, but making sure there's enough weight in the rear as well to maintain traction) clear! but the Reign excels in the descents, to Paul shows us again how it's done . . . no turning back, commit and follow your line! again, weight centered (not necesarrily always weight backwards). have to make sure your front maintains traction ayan, more Friendster pics for you Paul!

over the top (of Paul's head) shot Ben aka Raven sharing his wisdom...Thanks, Ben!! thanks, Ron! on a personal note:great to have a fellow advocacy organizer ... different disciplines ( MTB Riding Fundamentals and Skills Clinic + Bike Mech Clinic) ...same dream : upliftment of MTB We rode the nice short trails of UP after the discussions and demos and Ron had to do an actual "real life" flat fix halfway into the ride. ;D (a real Spartan move, Ron)... then the finale was the popular UP Shake stand....great event...great ending Kudos to Ron for his initiative, other organizers, bike mech teachers and the smart attendees !!

how about basic MTB skills next time? There are a lot of places in UP where you can hone specific skills ... simple drops, climbing, navigating single tracks, handling the rough stuff, cornering, small drops . . . . and UP looks like a perfect venue for it's easily accessible and it's cool with all the trees. We can even setup like a video recording so riders can review their form afterwards naks hi-tech Of course, we got all them PinoyMTBiker veterans to show us how it's done. Paging Milo . . .
