last weekend's ride to majayjay, laguna is what i could consider as the longest 12km in my life hahahaha! despite the tremendous uphill battles (with lotsa bike pushings), the rain, and chocolate-color ice-cold falls water... we came, we saw, we conquered, we survived! our group of newbies composed of officers of the leading insurance and pre-need companies (not to mention, the largest marketing organization!) spent the weekend filled with fun, excitement & adventure. joseph, kitty, caasi, sandy, cesar, albert, malou, jun, archie, jay, joy & yours truly. jump of point was at the prea-ville resort at the majayjay town proper, where we were to spend the night. a long stretch of up-hill rides, with an hour or so of riding in the rain was an experience to all of us. no wonder the place was called majayjay... for a newbie biker it was ma-high-high! hahaha! after a couple of hours at taytay (imelda) falls, was the part we enjoyed the most... the thrilling experience of downhill riding!... 10 kms of it! curahee!

hey, what happened to the water? We were there just last april and the water was oh so clear: i was about to ask the same question. i hope it clears up soon and maybe it was just the rain that brought the mud from the mountains.

more photos.... hey, what happened to the water? We were there just last april and the water was oh so clear: this was due to a a couple of hours of strong rain in the area, which resulted in erosions thus sediments and soil mixing with the water.... this also added to the coolness of the water... ice-cold! curahee!

cool guys, keep it up! and go train those uphill legs so you can conquer more hills in the future OT: aint it "Curahee" the steep hill the BoB-Easy Company climbs on the first episode? Lt. Sobel would usually holler "Hi-Ho Silver!" hehe just giving an insight.
