I got 15th overall! Around 100+ strong riders from Baguio and La Trinidad. I should have gotten into the top 10, but along the trail I was lost because there was no marshall to guide. Then again, as usual when I race on my MTB, semplang! ouch! More riders passed by again. Sheesh! Anyway, I joined the Open/Pro category so i'm happy anyway. Last year's race i got 10th but on beginner's category only. It just rained hard yesterday, so the trail was really muddy. Other than that, the rocks are all loose and big and slippery. Plus, I was using a 1.75 tire. hehehe. That explains my hard crash. It left a real big wound on my left thigh. And both my legs are now aching because of the fall (lot's of rocks hit me and my body). Still, I'm happy with my achievement.

So it's all out all the way. There was 10km road and 5km off road. For the first 5km, i was in the lead pack, until we entered the trail. That's where everything became a mess for me. ;D Then I regained on the last 5km on road again. hehe Double tracks, very muddy, if not, rocky. Fork is good. There are also a handful of rigid riders. The first placer of the Open/Pro cat is using a full rigid bike.

as for the minutes... umm, around 40-45 i think.
from the start of the course, it's already a 5km steep climb. If you remember Tiptop? or similar to the Wall. Then another steep 1.5km 45deg climb leading to the trail. And from their, it's all downhill and semi-flats and minor climbs.
