Whoopi and kiddfoes,
You're making me hungry already....just a thought of food makes me starve!
Anyways, Enzo cooked and brought macaroni soup and arabic bread today...Jun and Tiyong Efren of our roadie brothers also brought soup, bread and iced tea. Haayyy, how am I going to reduce weight?

suggestions (as if kasali): 1. dinuguan 2. pancit palabok 3. pichi-pichi 4. banana Q 5. halo-halo (with halayang ube and leche flan ha) for drinks: sago't gulaman Dinuguan = possibly(wont suit other nationalities) Pancit palabok=done Pichi-pichi = too dry Banana Q =too dry also Halo-halo = Too cold Others Lomi =done Sotanghon =done macaroni soup=done Spaghetti =done Cooking food for them is my excuse for not riding hard, up by 3 a.m. to give them newly cooked food. I was without a partner before(wife followed after 2 months) so I know the situation of those without one. Likely, Sleeping drunk the night before, no food the morning after, most shops closed with the Gas station as the only option or riding without breakfast. At least now after the ride they wont feel so bonked out and dont have to struggle going home. More likely they will just clean up and then hit the sack without eating lunch coz the portion of food they ate will make them through even without or waking up for lunch.

ENZO, the soup kitchen master ;D what's arabic bread? Same as our bread but less shortening. Short on everything and but more flour. Pretty heavy though. Cooked in traditional oven or kiln. Bland tasting good partner for soup.

ENZO, the soup kitchen master ;D what's arabic bread? Arabic bread is the same bread used for Shawarma wrap but in the Philippines, they make it different. It's round and flat and a little bit "makunat" but tastier than an ordinary bread. There's a small size and a big size as big as a small "bilao". Instead of rice, Arabs prefer this bread with their lamb, beef, fish or mutton (goat) dish. It's and old tradition bread.

dont they use olive oil? i think sawsaw sa kape is for toothless lolo and lola ;D Tolits, Yes! Olive oil is widely used in this part of the world. Waaa We are old people na talaga, even with our teeth intact we make dunk our bread in the cup of coffee, tea, milk even pepsi. OT, My uncle told me that olive oil has the smallest molecule of all the oil being used today. And vegetable oil is the one being use for that additive Pertua.

Waaa We are old people na talaga, even with our teeth intact we make dunk our bread in the cup of coffee, tea, milk even pepsi. pepsi?! ;D ;Dprobabaly because the arabic bread had become very "makunat" - like rubber slippers ;D and the only way to eat it is to soak it and with pepsi ;D Enzo's always experimenting on everything... So many Pinoy roadies and MTBers showed up last Friday....the original Dubaikers came, the new ones, the Cannondale group, the Giant boys, the Scott boys, Specialized boys - ang dami!!! No pics as everyone enjoyed the thrill of meeting and riding with Pinoy cycling addicts in Dubai! Three groups are missing though - the CLASSICS and Al Quoz boys...they are missing in action.
