The uphill portions of this trail are actually tough but with a "workable" grade...and short enough
It was the heat of the day that did the most damage to us bikers
I just wish I stayed to swap stories at Chowking after..had to bail early for family reasons

nice ride!!! eventhough i have a fever early that morning, I dont regret bombing that trail on that same day!!! but after the trails, I had the fever again..hehehe... (funny how those trails increased my body resistance) but when I got home, I was already flaming with fever... but still, mt.biking is my passion and no one can stop me from that... ;D ;D ;D

NOEL s ANSWER: "Hey Arnel , nice to meet you may kababayan from Bicol On our way back , we took this route : jackhammer - mango orchard - stream crossing then after the barangay hall we turned left instead of going straight. This led us back to the new trail ... ang sarap ng downhill brad Hope to ride with you again " thanks buddy ditto that

Our path was a great deal more rocky and "hell-ish" since the Dh was down baby-head roads..rocks that are embedded but are rounded enough (that s why its called baby heads..weird but true) to scare this Downhiller on an XC Bike. You had it more scenic and euphoric , brad Noel DH I dare not touch the brakes (Vees tend to overheat also) and just float on my seat ..point the hbars straight down...just to catch up with brad "Milo d' great". speeds down the paved roads were in the balpark of 55-65kph or more (blurry blurry) They should have a DH race ...using only XC bikes heheheh scary stuff coz the bikes are too light, without much travel & runnnig on >40 psi

Nice scenery..is that road under construction or just a fireroad? If it does going to be a road, 2-3 years from now the area going to be smoggy .

jrallow me to answer for kuya rocky (the trail discoverer) yup it's a newly opened (nabutas) road, some portions newly bulldozed, some portions already bulldozed, topped and flattened. it opened up a more cleaner way (i.e. less polluted roadway) and detour to the licao-licao terminal. the normal route prior to the discovery of this trail is via a long uphill paved road which you share with garbage dumptrucks that leads you to bgy. macabud. this new trail should be enjoyed before it becomes a paved road. depending on whoever is the developer (govt. or private) it's only a question of when this road will be paved and we'll have to say goodbye again to a wonderful trail. hope this explanation helps.
