As usual, the pacing of the ride was next to boring. It barely exceeded 10kph most of the time only sped up at the downhill portion going to tiendisitas. BUT IT WAS SURE WAS FUN!!! Never in my life would I try biking at EDSA but on that day the bike is KING! There was still some stupid drivers that keep on honking there horn as if they could scare 3 thousands cyclist. I would like to quote some cyclist that I overheard: "Kami naman, buong taon kayong hari dito kami isang araw lang".

here's some more at the start I doubt if this guy put one some sunblock Mr. firefly himself. Or is he just a fly. He had a "fly" mask on at the start but he took it off. Probly couldnt breath. Moses/ermitanyo and son. Biker and kid. The kid's in the burley trailer. She was asleep for the first 3 kms i think. There was another biker with a "tandemizer" with his seven year old girl. Its Its like another bike but instead of a fork and front wheel, it has a tube that connects to the seatpost of the main bike. Cute. No pics though.

A picture of my wife and I and friends just before the start of the tour ,yesterday . Cruising along Ortigas near La Salle We were glad for once not to be on the trail , although admittedly I was complaining at the start that all our friends were out in Santa Rosa enjoying the trails. Trip ni Misis magride with the group , enjoy pa rin !

Twas great seeing the unfortunately "few" PMTBikers who participated in the TOF
For the not-so-good part: Its shocking to learn that two events simultaneously happening can easily deplete the PinoyMTBiker group size ...OR was it a failure of "herding the flock"?
Next time we should have a lead biker with a proud PinoyMTBiker Flag upfront
we have some of the nicest peeps and ...ehemmm..not to mention...some of the nicest bikes in the MTB community yet we failed to "show up". I dont mean that in a snobbish kinda way but ..indulge me on this...we should know better, eh?
I ve asked Miksmedia who happens to be an art director for Avon to cut-design and print small tarp PinoyMTBiker flags
Sorry to burst anyone's bubble but I kinda felt we could have done better
Groups with mall bikes had their jersey colors down pat...and banners to boot !
