good morning/afternoon,evening! (depends on what time you read this)
uhm, guys I'm new in mtbiking so can i ask a few questions (actually, a lot!) about DHs and im starting to build my own bike. well, not really new., iv been riding bikes since childhood (BMX type/class but without the stunts)., but only this time, i want to make a step further.,
1) can the avalanche 2.0 frame be used in DHs? 2) am i required to use forks with shox? 3) suppose i want to have my 1st DH stint, where is the nearest track from sampaloc manila area? 4) will 26X1.36 tires with ordinary rims (cheap ones) do? 5) will V-brakes do or preferably disc brakes? 6) im not new in the mountains but I'm new in mtbiking., iv also been to Imelda falls in majayjay., where is the track there?
hoping for your kind response, answers and suggestions.,
thanks guys! ^_^
(note: sorry for the wrong post before., im still kinda confused., hehe.,)

@lazy pong- here are my answers to you questions 1.) yes, i used my avalanche 1.0 before for Dh and dirt jumps 2.)yes, its a must especially when the track is rocky and bumpy 3.) maarat and patiis 4.)nope, those tyres are too small for DH 5.) for a starter v-brakes will do but of course disc brakes are much better 6.) its near the parking lot of taytay falls, its near the new big house which they call big brothers house

;Dhello all.... just passing thru.....
i wonder why its so quiet? hmmm.... why? pinoy DHers afraid of the rainy season? ;D ;D
chicken shits!........ FYI: euro and pro-am DH riders & FroRiders consider the wet seasons in their respective continents as the best and optimal season to train, this enhances the individual's riding skill by priming handling techniques on unpredictable terrain.
lol.....wala sa libro nyan! at wala sa magazine nyan! ;D
lol... thats why theres a "WET TIRE" design in the market! lol
why am i behind my pc and retired from riding?
cuz u fckers suck! hangang d2 lang ang linya na nakikita nyo, di nyo pa nasusubukan lagpasan yung linya!...
the mtb community is full of "mainstream" / "stereo-type" people, the sport wont grow on its own.... someone has to push the boundaries and keep pushing.....
I quit 15 yrs is enuf.............
AKO ALAM KO KUNG HANGANG SAAN KAYA NG ITLOG KO! EH KAYO ALAM NYO NA BA? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
....so if you have questions.. pm me...
.... if you have news n updates about DH rides...just post it here...... ;D
