29er Freeride and Downhill bikes should be more common in 2008 - when fork, rim and tire manufacturers will be churning out DG-specific models. Here's a better photo of the BCD Racing rig:

there are 5-inch travel "all-mountain" or "trail" 29ers already, but as far as full on downhill rigs go, it's still a very very very niche product.
would be interesting to see what 2008 brings us!

It should have happened along time ago ... the tall riders could fare better with em I think
