Max, I think the da bomb just recently came up with new stem product. They usually make frames. I suggest get a thomson stem. They are very good I'm using on my freerde bike and hardtail bike. You can also check MTBR.com/stem/review.

tnx:).

If you think about it the stem is not that very important to the bike parts but Tignan mo lang kasi bago baka someday may problema cause its new specially you are putting pressure on the bar and you don't want to get and accident (over the bar).

fyi, i believe only the minime model is available here. i just got one recently to match my "molotov" da bomb hardtail frame. i'm happy with it and it seems to be sturdy enough. da company seems to have made a name in BMX a decade ago and only recently did we get to know about them and their products when a local importer decided to bring them in. but nothing beats a thompson if u have mucho dinero. hope dis helps.

Max,
Personally I use a Thomson because I already saw what a bad stem can do to a rider... the poor guy was using an amoeba stem and it cracked while going downhill to Ka Vergel. Broke his pinky finger (it got caught in the bars when it flew off) and also made "tocino" of his face (ouch!!!).
I suggest get any stem that is CNC'd. This way you are sure the construction is solid and will not just crack like the poorly forged units that are cheaply available. The CNC will leave circular machine patterns and have no weld marks. Why not try the Turbolite. There are CNC versions and they are light and cheap.
Good luck!

more info on da bomb:
I think their 2004 line includes stems hubs, new frame models (they'll be using manitou rear suspension), saddles, pedals and I think headsets. They've got cool designs, but they cater mostly to freeride, downhill and slalom bikers. I saw the stems that arrived about two months ago, and all of the models in the pics posted here are there - yun nga lang super limited yung dax, onepointfive and moto models, madami yung mig and minime. They also have this cool stem, I just don't know what model but it has a killer finish. I'll post the photo soon. Thomson is my dream stem for my next project. IMO it's the best. Settle muna ako sa tioga ko in the meantime.
Max, get the mig!

CNC ata is yung curve metal walang welding kung baga buo. yung unang pic is CNC while yung huli called "mini me is forged alloy.
I got the CNC type by the way cost is P1150 While the forge version is P750 only
Bought it at paulinas by the way
