Back in 2002, the also had a recall on the Manitou Six super. They say that the top cap can come off and the springs would fly out. Mine was warrantied as sometimes I was only getting 2" of travel. They replaced the internals. Now, it's just sitting as my spare/winter fork though it was quite plush when it was working properly.

was aware of the problem with those forks before i got my blunt triple 170mm. so far so good ;D
