as long as it's setup up properly, it should work great. when i got my juicy 7s, the rear brake was locking up pag nabilad sa araw. turns out there was too much fluid in the rear. got it bled and it's been working great ever since.

Locking is the problem of this brand, it must be called Stcky not Juicy, sa tutoo lang, MOB disc is much better than this, kaso because this is an avid so it still excells. Anyway, this is just my experience on this juicy fruit brake.

me i like my juicy 7s. easy to install and the modulation is great. being hydros self adjusting yung pad clearance to the rotor so once setup forget na until you need to bleed. the contact point adjustment (allows you to set how deep the levers need to go until the brakes engage, without affecting pad to rotor clearance) of the 7 also makes the feel of the brakes very very nice, allowing you to easily adjust the levers such that pantay ang bagsak. madali din i-align with the rotor. di na kailangan ng shims o trial and error para ma-align. just squeeze the brakes, tighten the bolts of the calipers, and voila, aligned na. as with the problems of locking, yes I had those initial problems with the rear brakes. with the front no problem whatsoever, upside down, in the heat, etc. my rear brakes however would rub against the rotor once in a while. di naman complete lock pero there was significant rub. turns out there was too much brake fluid. kaunting bawas lang ok na. (one LBS recommended using a different brake fluid, something more suited to tropical climates. pero so far so good). no problems ever since. there were some problems with rubbing later on, and I thought olats yung alignment system ng avid. turns out it was wheel that was out of true, no problems with the brakes pala. so now no problems with it. not sure about the weight issue as i don't really care about the weight (the rider being 200 lbs already! oh you might want to use a different rotor than those polygon ones. they do have this strange alien noise when it gets dirty. no effect on brake performance, but you might find it annyoing (me I find it useful to alert pedestrians
