It's hard to find a 31.8 mm bar. all terra has only one i believe and it is the truvativ xr riser bar. Had checked some quiapo shops to no avail.

mervs, have your tried looking for a turbolite? turbolites not only look light, they are light. try looking for one at extreme. that's the only stem they sell, i think.

the 31.8 mm handlebar, from research, mostly used for DH, for a bigger clamping area.
i have a Club Roost Riser bar that's 31.8 mm if you guys want it. it has a 1.5 inch rise. i can get the details tonight, watch for my update tomorrow.
another handlebar that i came across is Amoeba Borla, it's a 31.8 mm standard.
i'd take FSA btw ;D

so, it seems that fsa is "ahead" in this face-off. though most posters suggest a turbolite. so, my question is if it's true that turbolite and ritchey are manufactured by the same taiwan factory, why is it that ritchey's not getting its fair share of votes? anyway, i'm also looking for a stem and riser bar and your earlier posts here provided some nice info's. tnx!

Just my 1.12 pesos... I've owned the FSA stem (although the one made for the 25.4 bar, not the 31.8 pm me if you want to know where to find them) and the finish is amazing for the price. The tolerances are very smooth, its a high quality product. I was VERY impressed. I WILL warn you beforehand, in my experience, its a little bit on the flexy side (I used the 90mm), so if you're going to use it for anything other than xc, you've been warned Then again, I'm 200 pounds so it may not be a problem for you. Hope that helps...

brad, i'd suggest also d turbolite, they weigh around 130g +/-(90mm), cheaper and does d job. been using it for quite a while. and m no lightweight guy ( i tip d scales at around 200+ lbs.)so i think it will hold up to trail riding. but f d choice s limited between d 2 then i'd probably go with d fsa
