In sir Jojo's case it's so sad that he still need to spent more money to recovered his precious bike... But im sure reward money is nothing after he and his bike reunite again... ;D ;D brad Ricky! brad Savers already recovered his bike a long time ago. I remember him riding his recovered bike albeit with damaged paint work. He even invited PinoyMTBiker to a mini thanksgiving party.

pleaded not guilty?
anyways, sometimes...it's better for us to forgive someone who had committed mistakes against us...but this time, we better let them learn their lessons...it may sound so harsh, but we should teach them...how can we prosper, or improve our lives if we just allow these kind of people to do those stupid acts...

If you're very sure that He's the ONE!...and HE pleaded not guilty.....I think u should "HAVE NO MERCY!" if you forgive him....he may again commit same crime (he'll think he can easily got forgiveness) .....maybe NOT unto U but maybe on other very own PinoyMTBiker's or maybe even on ME.... Let him suffer for HIS crime! Sorry guys....if I HAVE HEARTLESS FEELIN ....CO'Z my bike long time ALSO STOLEN.....(2 years ago when im residing at LEVERIZA ST. PASAY CITY ...)

actually the reason for his plea is that for him to be able to compensate me on time.because the moment he pleaded guilty, his sentence will be accorded to him immediately and his sentence will be 6-12 years. he asked me for forgiveness and he just starting a new life when i caught him.

"what do you think guys? should i forgive him?"
my opinion - YES.
he pleaded not guilty just to avoid the legal 6-12 yrs in prison right? but when not faced with legalities and admits his crime to you asking for forgiveness and even offering compensation then that is repentance already, I think. he has been imprisoned, so i hope he knows how it is. If he's smart, he'll not do it again. also the fact that he already has a job means he's at least in the right direction.
I pray that he doesn't do bad things again.

Peace!

i suggest you take a look first at this guy's...what do you call the sheet, the list of crimes committed by this guy or record of charges filed against him? do you guys (PNP) have that? if you do have that then what does it says? is the guy notorious for doing these things?
its not that i'm an unforgiving person...i just think that we should look at things like this with the welfare of greater number of people in mind rather than just one person...a simple crime of robbery can turn ugly very easily peeps...sometimes its really hard to make a decision specially if it will determine future life of a person...but always remember, "sa ano mang gawain, kailangan ng tibay ng puso." ;D
is forgiveness automatically means letting him loose? hehe! maybe i have different definition of that term.

yeah...i totally agree... forgiving is different from letting him loose...it's not that, i don't have a kind heart...but i just want them to learn their lesson...coz i do believe that everyone on earth is being taught with what is right and what is wrong....it hurts kasi when important things in your life will be stolen...it's like "ikaw ang nag-hain, iba na man ang kumain...." let him show na he changed na talaga...coz when you say na you learned or regretted about it, u should not do it again....he's just so lucky that brad Savers is a very kind person...and with this, he must renew his life...and change for the BETTER....

Peace! Sir Saver, a dilemma on your part is it? why dont we put the matter in this scenario, he stole another ones property, the victim was in anguish for quite a time, you did your job sleuthing and finally caught the perpetrator, you hauled the guy to jail, then here comes the victim asking the person to be set free because he asked forgiveness and pity him. how will you feel? or if the victim ask you for the same opinion you are asking how would you put it? @ bobby: he committed the crime when he was jobless and confused? well with so many incidents of stealing, robbing, snatching etc., well we can say that there so many filipinos that are confuse nowadays. i beg to disagree on that one brad, they are not confused when theyre doing it, theyre aware of what they were doing, it is only that when they are caught that they became confuse never expecting that trheyll be caught. Sir Saver, its only proper that you forgive the one who have done you wrong, thats Christian teaching, but the matter is already in court, let everything runs in its proper course.

Poverty is no longer an excuse and for me that word is already overused by most criminals.
