Here's some of the well or common head brand names for helmets we usually see atop of a fellow bikers head... some of us may experienced a fall while wearing one... some may not even experience it, but before you guys do, who among them do you choose to save you, and for those who have fallen, rissen and choose to ride again-are you still goin to choose the brand that u once used or goin to shift on another one...
May this be help...
Again...Post away friends...!!!
PS...hope I included every brand that we had encountered and the list can only hold as many as 35 entries.

Sorry to be a pain, but how many of us have actually have had a chance to try on a number of these helmets, let alone all of them, to be able to give an honest opinion on which helmet is better? And we're not even considering the ability to properly evaluate these things. Otherwise, this just becomes a vote on which helmet we have or prefer to have. What do you think?

What do you think? i agree with you sir apollo. always wondering how can one just say "this is the best out there!" man, have you tried all the other brands? you could at least say "this is the best i've tried so far!" oooops, almost forgot to vote ;D my vote goes to Giro. it's got better fit than Bell. the straps are also better. also got the chance to try Catlike and i think it also fits good.

I don't know if I'd say that Fox is the helmet manufacturer, but I would say that the Fox Flux I'm using now is the best helmet I've worn: comfortable, adjustable, and with good coverage at the back of the head.

I have these helmets :
Fox Flux (3 of them including my son's)
Giro E2
THE F-14 Helmet
Uvex xp100
The one I "like" the most is the Uvex xp100.
FYI Bell and Giro are basically the same company.

Why is MOB not included in the list? I'm pretty sure some people here use MOB.

What do you think? there are helmets on the market which only looks like helmets but they doesn't really give the proper protection... I think only a very handful of folks would dare to try just for a reviews sake (unless he or she is paid for it or involve in a research)... my point is just simple... for those who have tried and used one or more brands... ...is for them to share the pro's and cons of a certain brand... for myself... I have tried Trek Vapor and Specialized Airforce 3... they are both good considering the price... but on the Spez helmet...which I'm currently using...beware of the rubber ring that kinda secures the excess part of the clothlike chord...it irritated the part of my shin where it made contact...

Am I the only one who uses Rudy Project here? Rudy Project Zuma user here. Pros: nice design, lightweight around 8oz., aerodynamic, nice straps, looks durable. Cons: a bit expensive and lack in design/color availability. I think it boils down to preference(color, weight, strength, design aesthetics, safety features, etc.) and last but not the least, budget. I don't think anyone has even tried every helmet mentioned on the poll list in actual ride. So, I think it is highly doubtful to see for ourselves what's the best on the market, unless tried and proven otherwise. Just my dos sentimos.

Whenever I see an interesting helmet I may want, I always check www.helmets.org first as to what they have to say. They update their reviews every year, with baseline pricing, and they have a very comprehensive list of so many brands. Before I buy, I refer to their pricing for an initial advise.

Why do I rarely see SNELL Foundation ceritified helmets in the market? Back in 1993 the Snell Rating of a helmet made helmet choice easy.
