nell7806, brad, as what rocky has described. the place you had your accident was i think also the same place that i endoed too (actually one of my riding buddy also had an accident on this area, so we decided not to take this route again). the good thing is that, i was also saved by my precious helmet (michelin). i still ride my rig but after that freak accident, i'm always dead last in going downhill even at upak trail. hehehe.

Dear bongsans, I am not inclined to be superstitious. But I might as well open can of worms here. That place where Nell7806 endoed is notoriously jinx. Call it white lady. Multo. Specter of death. But the farmer who lives and tills the fields next to it told me that not a month passes and an accident always happens on very same spot. Motorcycle rider endoing. Toyota 4x4 Land Cruiser tipping sideways. Jeepneys crashing. Tricycles flipping. And then Nell7806 face planting as if thrown by a judo master stomach style. I was right behind him. There was no apparent reason why he would have flipped over. But he did. As if pinatid up on air. And then Nell7806's helmet saved him.

But when I already secured another helmet for me to use, that weird feeling was lessen. Since that place nearly took me, just want to return to that place and give it some respect... it's a nice trail thou. Just be carefull when passing that particular area...no need to avoid it.

Planning on getting one pa lang. well I think the price would never be a factor...just see if the helmet itself could protect you in such ways...but always bear in mind even wearing a helmet doesn't mean your 100% safe from head injury (even the manufacturers warn) just go out wearing one, and don't try things your not capable of or just simply doing stuff beyond your capacity...on my case, I'm a former BMX dirt crit finisher but still I smacked on the ground, can't help eh...I was kinda on an ecstatic state at the moment/on a different high-simply the love for mountainbiking...

@ arcireyes yes brad, the place was closed according to one of my biking buddy here in sta rosa. they were stopped by the guard at the hump area and were not allowed to continue before entering the open area towards the twin mansions. rockymy 2 cents to that brad. my fall was also wierd according to my buddies. i was riding downhill and was about to maneuver a turn when a kind of force pulled me towards the side of the road and lost control of my bike. then thats it. my friends told me that my bike flew about 10m away from me. my front wheel was damaged but i was able to ride my bike (with a misaligned front wheel and broken lock on my rear brake lever). after that freak accident i always wear my knee support for added protection and of course my precious helmet. ride hard and ride safe...
