that's one scary video, but the site mentions he finished the ride. He was pretty busted up. funny how that vid is still making its way around the internet after all these years. There's even a video from the Subic Bay area in 2004... mountainbikebill.com/PI.htm
a tell tale of stupidity thats what it is... he shouldn't fall from that ridge... if he just roll off from the first time that he pass that point of the trail... they're already treading somewhere which is far more dangerous... Hans Rey the founder of Observed Trials, even he sometimes thinks twice on doin something... why do another pass just for the camera... That is no longer responsible mountainbiking... THAT IS ONE HELL OF A TYPICAL SORRY LAME ___ WANNABE (guy from the video)... I guess atleast his thankfull that he is still alive... may this video serve as a quiet reminder/lesson.
i guess this is the same with upgrades... sometimes, it's just cosmetic... just for the camera... just for the eyes... hehehe... it seems natural to human... to show something off. this is just my opinion. showing off in every possible way. i do this too, but not on the trails.
may I add to what you have said sir Daimler, it's really good to do stuff that would entertain others or in a win-win way, learn from what you would do... but if you'll just show off in order to be glorified... man... think about your limbs first... I couldn't say another word...
