Of all my years of bicycle commuting. it was only tonight that i encountered a bicycle commuter who is a victim of polio. I had a chance to talk with him while riding side by side with him and he said he had been doing it for quite sometime.
This guy had overcome his handicap. Truly a person to admire.

there is a guy who drives a pedicab (sidecar bike) in Balut, Tondo who is also a victim of polio, he could never do a full rotation of the crank so he bikes using an up and down motion.

It would be of help for them if the other crank arm was of the next longer size. It will curtail additional expenses, but surely it would be more convenient for them. Customized for their much needed advantage.

Strap pedals would be great for one foot rotation..
