If the government is promulgating clean air act, clean and green, energy conservation, etc. and doing everything to improve the traffic condition in the metropolis... biking is one great solution.
But where are the implementations that support us bikers? Why are there very few bike lanes like the ones in Marikina? How about the other cities and municipalities? There are even places that used to be bike havens like Global City that put bike restriction signages in many streets within. As a regular biker I always find it hard to pedal on roads since we are almost defenseless compared to those transports and insensitive, annoying motorists. Accept it or not whenever we ride outside along busy streets one of our foot is in the grave... anything can happen and if it does, sad to say, we even get the blame at the end.
How can we get a strong and visible support and protection from the government as we are visible supporters of their aforementioned programs?
What can you say about this?
