Yeah it's amazing what that photostitch can do. Here's my poor attempt to create a panorama from 4 or 5 frames I guess.... will just post the link because of the size Canon G3 Yarigatake

thanks Roche....photostitch & Photoshop LE is packaged with every purchase Canon digitam camera. Since its a common cam in ph, try checking your friends who has one. Guess there wont be licensing issues for this. We have lots of local shots during our climbs...unfortunately i dont have the files with me, it would be nice to share some scenery which you climbed hard to see. wowwww! nice, BUTCH! hmmm where can i get that photostitch thingy? ahhh beautiful beautiful philippines, JON and HANCE. thanks for sharing ;D (JON, natawa ako sa "bato bato peak").

hans, talentado ka talaga...nice shots brad.
hmm..photostitch?! amazing technology.
my old man has this ancient yashica dual (?) lens reflex camera that uses 120mm and an adaptor for 35mm film that he wants to give me...looks like a box with the viewer on top...he took lots of nice pics with it esp when we were still young...wow, i got so excited... then he started explaining the time of the day, position of the sun, weather, shutter speed, openning, ASA ? etc.
i think i'm buying a digital camera.

Ben Dover: i'll go for that medium format camera. that way, you could always get a digital camera back, and then... it's a digital camera na! hehehe... kaso digital camera backs for medium format camera's cost around $20k++ ouch!

wohooo tolits thats a keeper, considered antique. Those medium formats if used properly can give you really nice photos....old school style. But with digicams.... digital enhancement really made some of the mediocre products into something nice. Before getting one, check 1st on where you want to use it. Sometimes our lifestyle (biking) needs us to have a really portable ones. For my case.... I lean more on those handy waterproof versions

TOLITS, a digital camera won't let you forget about shutter speed, ISO, etc. either heheh. of course you can conveniently set it to Auto (which i do most of the time), but you can do that with film cameras too di ba?

guys, what do you mean by medium format? the camera is still with my old man...i think its too complicated for me...you know for a guy who cant even adjust his bike's rear deraillleur properly oh, i remember the flash...its a separate unit...you unfold it and looks like a small aluminum satellite dish.
