Chinese men walk past a signboard at a pay parking lot in Beijing, where "fee" is mistakenly spelled as "pee". The Chinese capital has began a campaign to improve its signposting in English ahead of the 2008 Olympic Games. Among signs in need of correcting were ones for "Pubic Toilets," and "Deformed Men" -- the latter indicating facilities for the handicapped. taken from yahoo photos... even if they spelled it right... fee park still doesnt make sense.

I've been there. Thats in Taguig race track. Me and my bike buddy went there for jumping. The ramps there are really high! Good for jumping! They have 7 feet ramps there.

Perfect example of a circular reference... This was taken at a "upscale" mall in Makati about a couple of months after it was opened to the public. Who ever thought of this i pure genius, imagine a sign going up the escalator telling you to avoid the sign going up the escalator. I guess the person who thought of this also decides on bike parking policies in their other malls...hint...hint...hint....

can anyone tell me what the heck this is?! It may look wrong, just entirely un-mountain bike but the setup is actually cyclocross, though some people prefer their cyclocross (crossbikes) bikes with 700c wheels, there are those who build their rigs on 559c rims. Modern hybrids use/follow a similar template.

If you go to the said mall they actually took down the sign and the bar that hold the sign already. Unfortunately the "violator" of the sign is wrong it is probably meant to say something like overhang ahead do not extend limb/torso outside escalator handrails.

It's a sign that warns the escalator users that there's an upcoming structure at the upper level (i.e. a bulkhead or a beam near the escalator's handrail) where a person's limbs or head can be caught or wedged into it. It also serve as a warning device that when you hit that signage with any part of your body , the tendency is to pull it back thus saving you from being caught.

Its meant to show the either the maximum headroom ahead or an obstacle ahead and as an early warning. Though if a picture is taken that way it looks funny. It is common in escalators with a floor on one side. IE inside Shoemart Dept stores (atrium on a side and floor slab on one side).
Remember when Erap was waving to the side of an escalator and he thought everyone was cheering him instead they were warning him that he is about to hit the ceiling.

The odd thing is that if you go up the escalator the beam is quite a distance from the escalator that it does not pose much of a hazard, actually putting an extension and hanging a sign on it actually makes it far more dangerous...as I said thankfully they took this off already!
