when i tried going to their proboards forum, it wasnt there anymore. i guess proboards mean business. not that im feasting on the 43bikes forum's fate or kissing up to the PinoyMTBiker mods' arses, but i think we should all abide by the english spokening policy set by proboards.
too bad.... i was just begining to enjoy 43bikes' posts. lots of funny people there- no inhibitions...
Randal, keep u updated with your new forum... i especially loved the auto-refresh feature of your shoutbox!

Did anybody talk to any mod of 43bikes? Was it really deleted by Proboards?

Hmmm I read this from the FAQ forum in the proboards support forum:
Board Deletion?
If you think that your board was deleted, you may have violated the Terms of Service.
Please read the TOS and make sure your board met all the guidelines that you agreed to when you created your forum.
Read The Terms of Service Here
The most common offense is a Foreign Language Violation (Section 3C of the Terms of Service)
Do not post in support if you have violated the TOS. You will not be given back your board or any information that was on your board.
If you believe you have not violated the TOS, post a message in support asking what happened to your board and a staff member will assist you.

I did some checking in Proboards support forum, and someone did asked for the status of the 43bikes. But the one responding is not really the mod or proboard staff. check this link

my apologies to the 43 bikes user for my idiotic actions, i'm currently, in the process of creating a new boards that will be totally interactive, like weekly updates and articles can be posted on the main page of the site by registered members. ofcourse with another server that will give us the freedom to use whatever language we wish to express ourselves. still remain a freeride site.....
sorry again, too bad... wala ng no choice eh!!! hehehe

just wanted a filipino MTB message board that will cater to filipinos who loves the ride and can express freely their views about the passion.
regardless of status and dialects, since most of us filipinos, knows more about the filipino languge than the english.
i thinks it's fare that we discuss issues on our native tounge, or english, bisaya man or Ilocano but mostly tagalog.
awan ti danum!!!!

[glow=yellow,2,300] For all brothers and sisters of "43 bikes": You all know what makes our forum really fun. Although we are a few, every members who posted there regularly had come to know each other very well. And I also noticed that one of the reasons that our brotherhood became successful is that we never had experienced any misunderstandings or any acts of bad criticism towards each other inside the forum, instead, we helped our fellow members do better towards the sport we cherished. We had helped some of our less-fortunate members built their rigs and some donated spare parts too! We also welcomed new members indiscriminate of their social standings. "Mahirap o mayaman", we all are equal in our small society. We had shared our knowledge, experiences, and precious time. "Buhay pa ang 43 brotherhood natin" and we're just starting! We only violated some rules of proboards and period. But overall, We did a good job. And for that, we pat each others back! [/glow] P.S. Wala ng no choice!
One on one... THE BEST!!! ;D

hey guys and gals,
thank you for your support. But hey, PinoyMTBiker mods (warlock especially) I thank you for your concern and warnings. let me just say this, the 43 bikes group really is nothing less than rock solid. We ride for fun. the forum, although it's a pity we have to restart from scratch, is just a form of entertainment for us during off-saddle times is no big deal... it's also just another form of communication for us. We are free-riders. I'm sorry if we offend some guys here. but heck, that's just the way we are. One fun loving, hippy culture group, our personalities reflect on our site. I respectfully abide with the PinoyMTBiker rules and regulations (mandated with Proboards). Heck I was even a PinoyMTBiker member first before I meet these fantastic people. Don't get us wrong we have regular jobs, some of us are either supervisory or managerial and others have thier own companies that they run on weekdays. but we just use our "hobby" (to some 43 people, a lifestyle and job- and how I envy them) to detox and de-stress once we ride!
One on one... wala ng choice!
Ride on 43!
Hey Rands, no need to appologize.

Good luck to the plan forum site, better establish a good site while the community is still young.
On behalf of the PinoyMTBiker crew, everyone's welcome to PinoyMTBiker since we share the common interest. As long as everyone follows the set rules by proboards everything is well.
Please post also if the new site is up and running so we can visit it also.

i miss the 43bikes forum already. the guys @ 43 really helped me from when i started building my bike till i started riding (and crashing). i was part of that "little" experiment gone wrong. my appologies as well. to randal, rob, ben, jovell and the rest of the gang, the forum might be dead, but the group and it's 'pasaway' attitude would still be there. heck, that's what brought us together!!
P.S. - please trim off the old URL of the forum from the 43 bikes stickers! thanks!

Joes, don't worry about it. It was fun. We knew it was comming and we were prepared.. we're freeriders, not stupid. hehehe...
to everyone who is also a memeber of the 43 bikes site. check your email from time to time. good things come to those who wait.
