There was a stampede. People were rushing to have good seats at the ultra when the gates opened. Hundreds got hurt and still counting according to the ER personel at Medical City.
This is the second time this kind of event happened to ABS-CBN. Kawawa naman ang mga bata specially.

we could all learn from this- rich or poor. a thing to ponder on: what's the filipinos' mantra? AKO MUNA!
you dont believe me? look at the traffic and tell me who respects a red traffic light nowadays. who follows the rules and who breaks them just to get to their meetings in time? check out how the pedestrians avoid cars like kids playing patintero on the streets. do you know that one can determine a country's status just by studying its traffic? its a dialectic proccess...
lastly, what do you think was in the audience's minds while waiting for the gate in ULTRA to open?
AKO MUNA!
wake up juan!

AKO MUNA!wake up juan! yes brusko, you've got a great point here! i observed that social status have nothing much to do when it comes to discipline and keeping things in order. for example: imagine the pedestrians (some with bulky baggages and small children) crossing right beneath the MMDA signages "WALANG TAWIRAN NAKAMAMATAY" along busy roads and ignoring the "tax-funded" foot bridges... the mini "stampede" in entering/alighting the LRT/MRT couches and FXs/shuttles/buses during rush-hours... the "overspeeding" vehicles in the slow lanes and the slow ones staying along the passing/fast lane in the expressways... the SUVs that "conquer" the public roads and will "hit" you (say, a bike commuter) with their "wang-wang" and xenon bulbs if you dare to utilize your right-of-way... what else? as for me, we need reminders all the time, whether you have "something in your pockets" or not, and it could be as morbid with what happened to those in the Wowowee event last saturday, should we never learn the "basics"... ride safe peeps

Who's to blame? Who's "pakana" is this? Having a contest without sure contestants! So everyone is a contestant, so bad! They even announced that they will raffle some cash for those who will not able to enter ULTRA and this trigger more people to come there.
may they rest in peace.

willie revillame although as they claimed just a mere "talent" i believe is/was in charge of the show since the beginning because it reeks of stupidity...what can we expect?
am very sorry to avid fans of this show and friends from bas-cbn...just expressing my opinion.

Willie's tears and some other stars there are not convncing, if they are really concerned, why Mark Jimenez's the first one to give aid to this victims and they try to solicit first before they help them.

This is a clear picture of poverty in our country. For ABS CBN, they should know better on how to handle this crowd. In short, poor planning and typical "bahala na" attitude.Lets just pray for everybody involve.
