Purpose of this thread is to know how many Ham (Amateur Radio Enthusiast) Bikers in PinoyMTBiker. I believe thru this we can create PinoyMTBiker communication team especially emergency response team or communication marshals whenever we have event or activities. (Pardon me if there is already existing one)
Name CallSign Standby Frequency
1. Mike DV1KWH 144.568 Mhz & 7.045 Mhz 2. 3. 4. 5. 6.

Hi Sir Max.....yup this is absolutely old school for communication but mind you that most of the emergency communication are being carried out by HAM operators, to name a few......Katrina Hurricane...most of the cellular networks, power plants & telephone lines were destroyed but thru HAM community and our reliable two way radios did help lespu & rescuer disseminate info. 73's Mike
