to those who asked about , how to breed scorpions - actually i have bought my scorpion pregnant... and lucky me she gave birth to 30 scorplets... but now theere are only 7 of them left... it is very hard to tdistinguish a female from a male scorpion.. some saY males are much smaller than females...

my eclectus: her name is ang... Cool picture, logpond! I used to collect parrots : cockatoos (two umbrella cockatoos): eclectus (had a male and female pair) the red electus died ..named them Tammy and Gucci (get it...Tamagochi? ) : ringnecks (2) and 6 more varieties My mom stole all of them...one at a time..took them from my house in Manila and brought them to Bicol in away Im glad ..they were her first grandchildren heheheh I now have a mini daschund dog named Kira Name sounds cute , huh? but not so when you find out how I named her . Equation : my 1.5 yr old son = Marco aka Kitoy(his congressman name); mini daschund (cat rat size); dog s in standard choco brown (rat color) ergo, Kitoy + Rat = Kitoy's Rat => "Kira" for short heheheheh I had fun doing that ;D

@denise, is your hamster was first time to give birth? if so, they really like to eat there babies especially when you are watching them, just like a dog, rats, cats... i've been notice this to this kind of animal. just give them lots of food and water to avoid that incident.

Any advice sir? Hi denise, 1st rule in hamster breeding: REMOVE THE MALE IMMEDIATELY WHILE THE FEMALE IS GIVING BIRTH. ;D (or even better before giving birth; if you suspect the female to be pregnant remove the male already..don't worry, hamsters survive very well under solitary conditions.. ) It is really in the nature of the male hamster to eat the babies..separation until the young ones are half his size or even bigger is the only way.. Hope this helps..Happy breeding!

I forgot to include on my list.. late 2005 I was able to breed more than 200 American desert Blackwidow ;D It was a very enlightning experience.. I'll share a secret with you guys..SHHH ..I even smuggled home a sac of eggs here in the Phil's! I tried nurturing them but the humidity here is too much for them..eventually 5 hatched but died..next time I'll try hybrid version so they can withstand the humidity here ;D Joke!!!
