freeman has been sidelined and will not be able to bike for a month (the doctor actually recommended 2 to 3 months of rest and to refrain from doing any strenous activity). this is due to an enlarged ugat that goes through his head which is giving him migraines. he's now taking medication to reduce swelling but the after effects of the drug include being nauseated and sleepy (yes, tataba na si paul, hehehe ;D ). i actually told him to double the intake for a speedy recovery but the doctor said it doesnt work that way, hehe. so get well soon brad. we need you badly. here's a tribute to paul freeman: the mountain goat. please post your best pictures of paul freeman on this thread and let's all hope for his speedy recovery.    |

hope the enlarged ugat ends there, nothing serious sana. get well soon.
avamigran for migraine, btw... but one has to take it BEFORE the migraine hits...people with migraine daw know as soon as waking up if its migraine day (like me)..tama ba doc?

enlarged ugat through the head? that's normal ah...happens to me every time i get excited...teka what head ba? hehe!
levity aside, i did notice something was wrong with paul during the ride to petro about two weeks ago..but he said he was just tired and lacking sleep coz of his trip from bicol.

Seacid2002 PMed me re Paul being sidelined. What is happening to us na ba? Now that the year is coming to a close and this is best season to ride, one by one, some of us are being confined to sickbay? Follow doctors' order Paul. Take it easy muna. Maybe It's due to lack of fluid in his system. he's not drinking diba?

What about the ugat that when enlarges makes you dizzy? (lots of blood go there in "espeysyal situation")...it's called ugat ng buhaypards, that's the effect of not bringing a water bottle and/or bringing a water bottle without water! i remember jon saying "he's sick in the head" = luku! pero pare, seriously.... pagaling ka! |

i was actually asking paul if he already logged in to PinoyMTBiker. he said "no, maiinggit lang ako sa mga rides nyo". poor guy. but he was so bored in the house, he went to UP to do some spinning but nothing strenous. he's not able to do the rough stuff we used to do at the moment, hehe. well, that's what he gets for going to naga and not bringing me along, hehehe. just kidding. he said it all started in naga. he went there to scale up mt. isarog (backpacking). he forgot to bring his medication (maintenance). they were only able to manage to get to camp 3 becoz they cant cross the waterfall/river becoz of strong/high waters. so they went to camsur's bike park instead. told him to post pictures here but doesnt want to see our trail rides becoz maiingit daw sya, hehehe. ;D . they spent a week in naga. when he came back, he rode with the guys up to petroglyph. come late afternoon, i was asking him if he's free for a ride n bataan. he said, "i barely made it back home from the ride. pass muna, hehe." now, he's gonna miss another ride in bataan. hehehe. well there's a good month end ride though. i hope he recovers by then.  |
