Most hospitals have this exchange program.
They will provide the blood (with the right type) to the patient,
provided that you donate the same amount (regardless of type) consumed.
This is to keep a good running stock of blood in the hospital.
Those who are not tired, not sick, and not scared of needles,
go for it.
They will get a small drop of blood first, to test for qualification (like if you're aids-free).
If you're puyat the day before, you get disqualified too.
Only after qualifying do they start drawing blood and ask you when you want to stop.
Remember to bring donuts and drinks to replenish yourself after.
So this is an opportunity to affirm that you're healthy.
And an opportunity to save lives!
