i have texted Roman last nite when i learned of the accident. he replied naman.
i heard today he will need three months to recuperate.

had a chance to talk to the trail master of Licao yesterday (confined at FEU). This happened at the Araneta trails Saturday (same playground of Rocky) as he was going down a scooter (female driver) apparently was headed up and met Ptr. Roman head on. The impact catapulted Roman 7 meters away and rendered his fork a mess. Per Roman, he remained unmoved for 45 mins as there was no one who could transport him back to civilization until a jeep came along and was brought to a hospital in Caloocan. His right arm is to be operated on today an as Allan mentioned, 3 mos to recuperation.

Pastor Roman, BOMB North Head, met an accident last Saturday in the Araneta Property area over at Licao-Licao. I got a text message from Yukon last Sunday informing me of the accident. I called up Ptr. Roman. He was at the FEU hospital. He said that he hit and was hit by a scooter being driven by a person without a license. He says it looked like she was just learning how to ride while Ptr. Roman was going downhill fast. Nagpatintero daw sila, until they couldn't avoid eachother anymore. He broke his wrist in three places and he also broke his forearm. He underwent surgery yesterday to place pins and wires on his wrist and plates on his forearm. He says that the frame looked like it was bent, the fork broke and his protaper handlebar also broke. Inspite of his injuries he was upbeat during our conversation. Pls pray for his speedy recovery. |

Sorry we missed coming to your rescue, fattire and the rest of us were already at the pancitan with our phones on silent mode when Sonny and Edison called.
I won't say we'll rescue the next time 'coz hopefully there won't be any more future accidents for any of us!
