How much is a barrel of oil right now? I heard it's around $60 dollars. how many liters of oil are there in a barrel by the way?

Heard it somewhere CNN or BBC that because of Hurricane Katrina which hit the Gulf of Mexico a few days ago that the barrel of oil will go for U$70.
Probably the hurricane disrupted the production of the oil rigs in the gulf which forces the Americas to source elsewhere. Rule of economics.... less supply higher prices.
What makes it worse is that in the Philppines...if the price of oil goes up.....all the other prices also goes up.
The problem is that when the price of oil goes down.... our prices remains the same... it doesn't roll down.

Whew not only because of katrina but now that SC approves the EVAT law were at the dead stick again. very very bad for our country especially the common townsfolks

Hmmm.. Why gas in PI is going up if the supplier are coming from the middle east. Thats a rip off. The oil coming from the gulf of mexico is for US use only and the number one oil supplier in US is coming from Venezuela. Is this a oil company manipulation..
