Genital grinder,KNK,Absit Omen,LOB,bad burn,Amocrass and the rest of the Death metal hardcore acts way back 92-98,they are trying to make a comeback of sorts.more like playing like the good old days,if u guys want to catch them and re-live the days, there are productions that are scheduled on weekends and some of them(bands) still play @ Purple Haze here in Marikina (JP rizal, its opposite side towards Calumpang just a couple blocks past 7-11 at the bridge) god it's almost 2 decades na pala.i'm old.heheheh OT: Purple Haze already moved to a different location (for almost a year or more na pala ) and is now located @ Tomas morato near Timog. was there last week and its bigger and better than before. Great place. ill get the exact location and contact info's prolly make a new thread as well. classic and new bands play there regularly, productions weekly. great place to hang out and remenisce about the good ol' times

is it true? kirk is half-pinoy? must have been a joke... is dave mustain the one from metallica who went to megadeth? megadeth also rocks but "master of puppets" says it all... Yup...he do have a Filipino blood. there's even people with kirk's picture from a bar in olongapo city because I guess his mom came from that place or a near by province... He visits the place for tribute reasons not coz of the red distrcit. He's also a Student of The great JOE SATRIANI....

Guys! Metallica fan here. One of my top 5 Rock band of all time! guys try to watch their documentary entitled "some kind of monster". You'll learn a lot about the stories behind the immortal band (Mustaine, drugs, and their soft and stubborn sides). I loved them more upon watching it. "Welcome to the battery!!!" 1. Pantera 2. Metallica 3. Disturbed (they have yet to make their mark) 4. Led Zep 5. Black Sabbath *#6 Bon Jovi - hehe! just kidding!

www.metallica.com/index.asp?item=60096106/14/2008 - ? ? ? No More hubpages.com/hub/Metallica-death-magnetic--Death-magnetic-metallica--Death-magneticDeath Magnetic New Metallica Album 'Death Magnetic' is the title of the New Metallica Album to be released this September. Metallica death magnetic will be the 9th Metallica Album ever and will be the first Metallica album to feature bass player Robert Trujillo, who has been in the band for five years. The solos are back with each song expected to sound amazingly live. The tracks are expected to verge around the seven minute mark. A total of 10 songs are expected to appear on the new death magnetic album, referred to by Metallica as ‘Nine epics and one song'. Produced by Rick Rubin under warner brothers label, Death Magnetic was recorded in Los Angles, California in March 2007. Originally 11 songs were planned for the album but it appears that only 10 will make it to the final release, the length of the entire Death Magnetic CD is expected to be 75:00

37prime.wordpress.com/2008/06/14/metallica-death-magnetic/Metallica became the internet most hated band when the ill-advised Lars Ulrich declared war against Napster and its users back in 2000 Under the guidance of Howard King who also represented Dr. Dre and Red Hot Chili Pepper, Ulrich paved the warpath against Napster and its users. Such move became the catalyst to the birth of anti-Metallica movement, solidify the band’s title as internet most hated band. ... Here we are five years after “St. Anger”, Metallica announced their ninth studio album titled “Death Magnetic”. The first album written and recorded with Robert Trujillo as a member. This time Metallica tapped Rick Rubin as their producer. Yet, once again, Metallica couldn’t stay away from controversy even when the band themselves didn’t do anything. In June 2008, Metallica was accused of bullying some bloggers to take down reviews of their unfinished songs. Upon the news, the internet once again crowned Metallica as their most hated band. Shortly after, the band revealed that they were shocked by this allegation, and found out that the band’s own management, Q-Prime was acting without their consent. As usual, the damage is done. This somehow proves that it is easy to start controversy on the internet. Metallica is yet still the internet most hated band. Despite of all the negativity, no one would be able to deny the legacy of Metallica. The year 2008 marks the 25 year anniversary to “Kill ‘Em All”, Metallica’s official debut album. This means Metallica is eligible for “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame” starting this year. Unfortunately, they are yet to be nominated to receive the honor. “Death Magnetic” is tentatively scheduled for release in September 2008. Would Metallica be able to regain the respect they once had? I guess for those who care have to wait until September. So far, the reviews have been good for Metallica. The way it goes right now, we all be treated to a great album from a legendary band named Metallica. --- * thank GOD! bob rock is now out of the picture! yeah!

any Ideas on the characters of those people who claims that hate Metallica? for sure their fans are even growing bigger in numbers... maybe if there would be a single person now on his teens that hates 'em... for sure another two or three is falling for their music...
